Fast and tasty apple puffs
Ingredients
- 480 ml of water;
- 100 g of brown sugar;
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch;
- pinch of vanillin;
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon;
- a pinch of salt;
- 2 large apples;
- 300 grams of shortbread;
- 2 eggs;
- 2 tablespoons of sugar.
Preparation
Pour the water into a saucepan and put on medium heat. Add sugar, starch, vanillin, cinnamon, salt and mix. Peel apples and cut into cubes. Put them in a saucepan and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Roll out the dough with two thin layers. Put one of them on a parchment covered with a baking sheet and lay the top of the stuffing. Cover with a second layer of dough, grease with beaten eggs and sprinkle with sugar. Cut into small thin strips and place in a preheated oven for 180 ° C for 20 minutes.
