Being a Vegetarian is Expensive in Canada!

Hello all,

I thought that I would share just how expensive it is to live in Canada if you are a Vegetarian. This is what I paid for 7 tomatoes. I just about sh*t!

I PAID $7.28 plus 5% tax. That works out to be $2.38 /lb.

Plain old Field Tomatoes. Produce is very expensive here in Canada. What's it like where you live? Let me know.

Being a Vegetarian, tomatoes are a staple for me, I probably eat close to 2-3 a day. I guess I will have to ration these for the next week.:)
