A quick and easy recipe of bitter guard..that is sure to work ...Diabetics these days has become very common due to our stressful lifestyle and unhealthy eating habits...Apart from the regular exercise and weight loss...we can even control our diabetes; by increasing the intake of food containing less sugar Like cabbage ; broccoli ; bitter gourd etc..Today I'm going to share with you all one such recipe which is good for diabetic patients but can be eaten by all...right from my GRANDMA'S KITCHEN.
Ingredients:
Bitter guard-250 grams
Salt -taste
Chili powder -1 pinch
Water - 1 liter
Method:
- Finely slice bitter guard discard the seeds.
- Soak them in a bowl of 1 litre water with 2 tsp Salt for about 15 minutes.
- Strain the water well and dry it well.
- Leave open for about a few minutes ..the more u let it dry the crispier they turn out.
- Heat oil and fry them in batches as shown.
- Once they start changing the color remove them.
- Remove them and immediately add salt ; chili powder and toss them well .
- You can save them in an airtight container and preserve for a few days.
- I'm sure you are going to enjoy it ...it won't taste bitter as well...
