Today I'm going to share with you all one of my favorite exclusive original homemade recipe , which is called "Yogurt Dumplings"!
Ingredients:
STEP 1:
Split Black Gram soaked in water for a few hours=200 grams
green chillies=2 nos
salt=1 tsp
cooking soda= 1 pinch
Put the above three ingredients and grind them coarsely, don't make a very fine paste.
STEP 2:
yogurt=250 grams
ginger garlic paste= a pinch
green chillies =2 finely chopped
salt= to taste
corriander= 1/2 bunch finely chopped
STEP:3
FOR TEMPERING
Oil=2tbsp
curry leaves=10 nos
mustard seeds=1/2 tsp
turmeric powder=1 small pinch
Method :::
- Heat oil and deep fry the split black gram batter like dumplings and keep aside.
- Beat the yogurt well make sure there are no lumps adding all the step 2 ingredients , you can add a little water if its too thick.
3)Add the fried dumplings in the yogurt(add 1 to 2) so that the dumplings soak the yogurt. - In a pan heat oil and add the step 3 temperings ...Immediately add this tempering over dumplings.
- Sprinkle chili and cumin powder and coriander....Serve either hot or cold ...
