As some of you know, I was in the forest recently picking blueberries and I did various dishes with them this week. There were already blueberry dumplings, and now it's time for blueberry buns. I have never made them before and I was wondering if they would be tasty.
To make blueberry buns, I used the recipe from the Internet.
Ingredients (16 pieces)
Cake
50 g (1.76 oz) fresh yeast
250 ml (8.45 fl oz) warm milk
500 g (17.6 oz) wheat flour
1 egg
5 yolks
100 g (3.5 oz) of fine baking sugar or powdered sugar
100 g (3.5 oz) butter
Additionally
approx. 300 g (10.58 oz) blueberries
egg yolk + 1 tablespoon of milk (to grease rolls before baking)
frosting (optional)

First, I took the yeast out of the fridge. I used fresh yeast, diced. I crushed them and filled them with warm milk (half of the recipe), I also added a teaspoon of sugar and 2 teaspoons of flour. I mixed, covered the cloth and let it rise for 15 minutes.
Then I beat the egg and yolk with powdered sugar. Later, I poured flour, sprouted yeast, the rest of the milk, melted butter (it is important that it was cooled down) and egg yolks into sugar into a large bowl. I mixed all the ingredients and set aside the dough to rise for 1.5 hours. Then I kneaded the dough. I divided the dough into small pieces, about 1cm thick, and put a handful of berries and half a teaspoon of sugar inside. I I added potato flour to the berries so that the juice does not leak from the berries. Then I formed buns.
I also decided to make crumble myself. I made it from butter, sugar and flour.
After putting the berries in the dough and forming the buns, I put them away for half an hour to rise.
Then I put them in the oven and bake for 18 minutes at 180 degrees.
I baked blueberry rolls for the first time in my life and they were yummy :) It is great that when you bake such rolls yourself, they are warm, the berry filling is warm and fresh.
