I am finally home! It was quite a long vacation I truly enjoyed with friends but it will never be completed if there is no travel presents for people waiting at home.
Dumaguete is one place also famous for their deliciously sweet food delicacies. I did have some travel presents before from friends that I was craving to eat.
The great thing about purchasing delicacies in Dumaguete is that you will never find it hard to look for them. They are usually in one place, in Sans Rival , City Mall, Robinson's and even in their market place.
My sister has been clingy about me to buying her Silvanas which I have not tried yet. Besides the known Barquiron(one of my favorites), I certainly would like to try the others.
Since our flight home is 9.45 AM, we woke up a bit ealier to buy something at Sans Rival Pastry Shop. The store opens at 8.30 AM and despite we arrived a bit earlier, people(most probably tourists), were already lining up waiting for the store to open too.
I was able to purchase the 2 flavors of Silvanas, chocolate and butter. One box contains 10 pieces of silvanas, the butter flavor costs Php150.00 and the chocolate is Php180.00. Of course I did buy something at the City Mall too, I had Barquiron, Barquillos, and some cookies to munch on my way home hehe.
