One of the ways to regain my health was to take care of the intestinal flora ...Health starts in the intestines! This is where the intestinal bacteria live, responsible for immunity, digestive system function, our skin and even the psyche!
These foods are rich in lactobacilli, a type of bacteria that can benefit your health:
- fermented vegetables, in Poland we eat a lot of fermented cucumbers and cabbage in winter time
- yogurt and kefir
- kombucha
- tempeh
- kimchi
We can also take a high-quality probiotic supplement.
I used to eat a lot of fruit cow yoghurts with sugar and glucose - fructose syrup 😡 Today, I choose only unsweetened vegetable yoghurts.
See how I prepared natural coconut yoghurt in a jar, easy to take away for breakfast or lunch.
Ingredients:
- 400 ml coconut yoghurt including Acidophilus and Bifidobacterium
- 2 tablespoons of white chia seeds
- 1/2 ripe mango
- 1 passionfruit
Preparation:
In the evening, prepare a chia pudding: peel mango and blend into puree. Add passionfruit and chia seeds, mix thoroughly. Pour into a large, clean jar and put in the fridge.
In the morning, pour coconut yogurt. Close tightly. Your breakfast or lunch is ready :)
In new zealand I also bought coconut yogurt with turmeric, mango puree and pineapple juice 👇
