Today I wanted to share a short taste memory from my 2017 trip to Cape Verde Islands!
This is a traditional creole dish, eaten at various day times, and is just delicious. This one captured below was made in a tiny town of Palmeira, Sal, Cabo Verde and, an even smaller pub-restaurant. Prepared by a Portuguese friendly cook-owner, this dish definitely is to be accompanied with a glass of white wine.
Specifically, this cachupa included a lot of tuna chunks, spiced up by some sort of chorizo sausage, with a fried egg to the side. A close-up here:
Check the Cabo Verde itself, too!
