Hello Again,
This was the mail we had after the delicious Scallop Starter. I do love a good hunk of meat so when I saw this was a special for Bank Holiday, I knew my husband and I were going to book.
40 Day Aged Chateaubriand for two
We asked for the Chateaubriand to be cooked medium rare. It's the only way in my eyes. This meat was juicy and pink and the texture was so melt in the mouth. It had a great seasoning with it too. We both chose the bone marrow béarnaise sauce and the steak was served with slow roasted Roma tomatoes.
Truffle and parmesan triple cooked chips
These chips were to die for! Smothered in parmesan and I believe a truffle mayonnaise. I could have eaten this bowl alone with nothing else. I rarely get to have chips, but when they are cooked like this, I really miss them. These were very rich, but my God were they sooooo good!!
Baby Gem Caesar salad
Gotta have your greens with a steak too. I love baby gem lettuce as it's so crunchy and fresh. This had a good amount of Caesar dressing and shavings of Parmesan. I really liked the little bread slivers on top too which gave a nice crunch whilst working my way through the salad.
A yummy meal overall. I was far too stuffed to have any dessert although the dessert menu did look amazing. At this point, you already have to roll me out the door!
