The first dish to come out from the Taste of Savoy menu was the Poached Oysters.
Poached Oysters
Seaweed beurre blanc, cucumber, caviar
This dish was so beautifully presented. That big juicy oyster and the taste of the sea with the seaweed beurre blanc was just spectacular. I lobed the little balls of cucumber and the topping of caviar. A very posh start to the meal indeed.
Such a gorgeous dish in both looks and taste. I did think there was going to be more than one oyster though. I guess it was something to wet your appetite and that's exactly what it did. I was already eager for the next course. I was hungry!!
