I am a total newbie in cooking, But I am trying out to learn recipe's. The ones I think are great I will share with you guys. These are "simple" but non plain recipies that you can make in about a hour or less.
Beef Rump + Potato Bravas. #NoobieCook 1
| Ingredients | For 2 |

| Beef Rump | 400G |
| Paprika powder | 1/2 teaspoon |
| Spring Union | 2 |
| Clove Garlic | 1 |
| Cherry Tomatoes | 10 |
| Lemon | half one or small one will do |
| Sugar snap peas | 100 gram |
| Oil, Salt, Pepper | always |
Prepare
- Peel and dice potatoes into small +/- 2 cm pieces.
- Add them with a pinch of salt to a saucepan / cooking pan. And fill up just enough water to cover the potatoes.
- Bring to boil and cook for 10 minutes. I did this on low fire to give myself more prep time for other ingredients.
- Meanwhile slice spring union in tiny pieces. do the same for the garlic clove and tomatoes. Take the lemon and grate off half the peel.
- Top and tail the suger snap peas.
- Once potatoes are done drain them and set them aside on a plate or something. No worries if they cool down. Half fill up the pan again with water.
Beef
- Season the steak with salt and pepper.
- Place frypan on high heat and add olive oil.
- Add beef rump and cook for +/- 2-3 minutes each side.
- Place beef on plate cover with aluminium foil. place this plate on pan half filled with water. To keep the beef warm for the process.
Fry the stuff
- add more oil to the pan and heat up.
- add the cooked potatoes and fry them for +/- 4 minutes or until they look good.
- reduce the heat and add salt and pepper to potatoes to liking.
- add onion. garlic. tomatoes. lemon and paprika powder. (all the stuff you made before but the sugar snap peas.)
- stir and combine. cook for +/- 2 minutes. Or till you think it looks good. turn off heat.
- add the sugar snap peas to the by now boiling water under the beef. place the plate with beef aside.
- cook for 1 minute.
Eat!
- drain the sugar snap peas.
- put everything on a plate.
- take pictures to post in comments here.
