Hi again! Missed me?
You know what’s funny? When I was a kid we used vinegar to soften meat before grilling it. There was a time here, when it was difficult to get good quality products (or even any at all). So, before making BBQ we had to make sure meat would be soft enough and we marinated it in vinegar for a night… Vinegar still reminds me of my childhood, so I’m doing meats with it occasionally.
Now comes a surprise! Vinegar marinated chicken is considered as a highly valued recipe in many areas of the world as I recently found out. Oh well, here I am with another Steemit Exclusive Recipe!
Ingredients
• chicken thighs;
• onion;
• garlic;
• vinegar (50g, like 1/4 of a cup);
• water (100g, up to a cup);
• pepper, salt.
Instructions
- Put chicken thighs into a big bowl.
- Cut onions into rings and add to the thighs along with some chopped garlic.
- Add vinegar and water, so it covers the meat and put into the fridge for half an hour up to 4 hours.
- Take an oven tray, cover it with foil and grease with oil.
- Put chicken thighs on the tray add onions.
- Cook for up to an hour at 160C-170C until golden brown and looking eatable.
Bon Appetit!
