There is nothing that can top a good goulash in my eyes, and this is the best one I have had yet
Not only is this creamy, tangy, tender and filling, but it is one of the easiest recipes.
Ingredients:
- lbs of beef chuck, cubed
- butter
- 3 onions sliced
- 2 tbsp paprika
- 2 tsp of salt
- black pepper to taste
- 1 6oz can of tomato paste
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1.5 cups of water
- dollop of sour cream for garnish
Steps
Saute onions in a large dutch oven, remove from pot
combine all the spices and cover all the beef
re-oil pan and brown beef over high heat
add the onions and the rest of the ingredients into the pot
- simmer for 1.5 hours or until tender. Serve over egg noodles or potatoes. A little sour cream gives this a great tang.
