, today I will be explaining how to assemble and prepare a delicious recipe that can be prepared for breakfast and brunch.
Ingredients
- 18 pieces white toast
- 1 and half pounds of smoked sliced turkey diced
- 1 cup onions chopped
- 1 cup red and green bell peppers chopped
- 1/3 cup of olive oil
- 1/3 cup of scallion diced
- 1 tablespoon of minced garlic
- 2 cups of 35% cream
- 1/3 cup of cream cheese
- 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoon Parmesan cheese
- 5 pieces of small sliced bocconcini cheese sliced
- 1 tablespoon of each black pepper, salt, paprika, cajun, dill, coriander, parsley, oregano, thyme.
- 2 tablespoon of bread crumbs
Method
- In a large pan heat oil then add the onions, bell peppers, garlic, scallions, stir for a few minutes then add the diced smoked turkey as well as the seasoning. Then stir for a few minutes and remove.
- Mix together the cream cheese and 35% cream until thoroughly mixed.
- Mix mozzarella cheese with Parmesan and oregano.
- Remove the toast crust then arrange one layer toast on 20x30 deep baking tray coated with butter. Cover with turkey and vegetable mixture sprinkle some mozzarella cheese and few slices of bocconcini cheese. Repeat layers until finished with the toast (approximately 3 layers)
- Pour the cream cheese mixture on the top of the what was assembled earlier , sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese mixture, oregano, bread crumbs. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until surface is golden. Serve Hot!!!
Notes:
For veggie option omit the meat and add more vegetables.
