Wasn't sure what to cook for dinner tonight so I used this infused olive for inspiration.
I have some chicken breasts that need cooking, a bag of pasta, tomato basil sauce, and some Italian cheeses that need to be used. So- Chicken Parmesan Pasta it is!
We need a flavorful chicken.
Skillet is heated- added the oil and 4 cloves of minced garlic.
Now let's add some white wine vinegar:
A squeeze of lemon:
Some dried basil:
A little bit of crushed red pepper:
Little sprinkle of oregano:
Salt and pepper and a little sprinkle of parsley:
I can't stand to cut raw meat- So we cut the chicken into cubes once it's on the cooked side:
Add in pasta of your choice:
Add in tomato sauce of choice- the whole jar.
Fill jar with water:
Add water to skillet:
Bring to a boil:
This is what it looks like- Now cover and simmer for about 15 minutes or until pasta is the texture you prefer:
If you feel you need more liquid you can add a little can of tomato sauce or some water.
Ok- It's done simmering, let's check:
Splendid! Now let's sprinkle with shredded parmesan:
Now we are sprinkling the Italian cheese blend:
Cover on low until cheese is melty:
Cheese melting:
Ok- Time to serve it up!
It gets a TWO thumbs up! WooHoo!!
