Hi Steemians,
It's been awhile I shared one of my soup recipes and its still winter in Sydney so today I want to share with you a soup suitable for all ages. It's not one of the traditional Cantonese soups I usually make, this one is called the “ABC” soup. That's what my mum used to call it because it has all the vegetables you need in a day and suits all occasions.
Ingredients for 4
4 tomatoes
3 carrots
2 purple onions
1-2 potatoes
a small amount of celery
400g beef
1.2L water
salt
For the beef:
soy sauce (2 tablespoons)
a small amount of sugar
- Start boiling the water
- Cut all the veggies into small pieces
- Cut beef in small cubes and marinate with soy sauce and sugar and leave aside
- When water boils, put all the cut veggies in the water and bring to boil
- Once boiled, on medium heat cook for 30 minutes
- Then add beef pieces in and boil for 10-15 minutes
- Add salt
It is super easy and its great for winter.
