Making a delicious vegan carbonara sauce is actually really easy, all you need is
ā almond butter (approx 3 large spoons)
ā some lemon juice (1 spoon)
ā smoked tofu (200g)
ā nutritional yeast (2 spoons)
ā salt
ā pepper
Just put the almond butter into a blender and blend it with some lemon juice and nutritional yeast. Now add some water until it has the perfect creamy consistency. Cut the tofu into small cubes and fry it in a pan until it starts getting crispy, add a little bit of soy sauce and fry it a 1 or 2 minutes more. Then add the almond butter sauce - heat it - that's it!
