Chicken Proben
Hiya Everyone! Tori here! Today, I'm going to be showcasing one of the most popular Filipino street food. Chicken Proben is dish made up of seasoned proventriculus (hence its name) of the chicken. It is deep-fried, skewered in barbecue sticks, and served with a side of sweet sauce or vinegar. It is chewy, however, that's where most of its flavor come from since all that juice is in the inside. Be careful when consuming this since it is rich in fat and can be inedible when exposed to unhygienic cooking practices. It is much better to cook your own chicken proben when you have the opportunity to do so.
