Whenever I have a Thai cuisine craving, I'll automatically think about Cili Pauh. The food at this place is pretty authentic and most of all the taste and quality of food is delicious.
The price of the food as well is reasonable and doesn't puncture a hole in your pocket for you to get your Thai food fix. Normally I'll go for their set meals of a dish with rice and mango salad on the side but this time I wanted to try something different from the usual Thai beef green curry I'd go for.
I tried the Nasi Goreng Pattaya or Pattaya Fried Rice in English which is fried rice with chicken meat wrapped in an egg omelette. It was absolutely delicious and the protion was generous. Although it was a very simple fried rice, it was tasty and I would definitely order it again if I ever wanted Thai fried rice. It came with a side of mango salad as well which is always good 😊
I went with a friend and he ordered something I don't normally as well which was Mee Celup which is basically a chicken soup with vermicelli. I tried the broth and it was very flavourful as well. It didn't look the part but what it didn't deliver in look it certainly did in flavor and taste.
Here's my final rating of the place:
Ambiance & Environment: 2/5
Plating & Presentation: 3/5
Taste & Flavor: 5/5
Average meal cost: RM 12-15 per pax
