Good afternoon, Steemians! I am hoping this Monday finds you well!
Today, we have a very easy home made pizza recipe. Yes, I love pizza! I don't like making my own crust and I have found that Naan bread is a great substitute. There are various brands and flavors available on the market. I have tried several and they all seem to work very well.
There are two round breads in each package, which makes two individual pizzas. If you are hungry or a big eater, you could eat both of them. Sharing is nice here as two people could each have an individual pizza made to their own liking!
Sorry for the messy cookie sheet, but it is to be expected. First, place the bread in the oven to bake or broil. I like setting mine to broil and toast them up a bit for added crispness. A few minutes on each side is all it takes. After your bread is crisped enough for you, just add your toppings! Tomato sauce directly on the bread with cheese on top is how I made these. Vegetables are always a nice addition. Once all the toppings are on, just put it back into the oven to melt the cheese and brown to your liking.
In just a few minutes time you can have a tasty meal that is light on your pocketbook!
