It's Friday once again! A much awaited Friday actually for me and my colleagues. Why? Because every other Friday is our payday! Yes, time for lunch out or after shift dates with friends, loved ones and family.
Today, we wanted to taste something new. Decided to eat somewhere that we haven't tried. After few minutes of strolling, we passed by this Filipino restaurant. Normally, I order my all-time favorite Sisig so I didn't miss that. Not bad though but this one caught our attention too. Chicken Halang-halang! Most of the time, chicken is chopped into small pieces and part is always the chicken's backbone. This one was made and served differently. Take a look!
Chicken halang-halang is a Filipino dish. This is guaranteed to tempt you increase your rice intake. I like it really hot and spicy. You can use chili flakes or black pepper or any other ingredient if you want it spicy. This one was served with coconut milk, sprinkled with garlic and onion leaves. Guess I can cook this at home since it's really easy to prepare.
That's it guys! Just wanted to share another Pinoy dish to all of you. Had a lot of carbo intake today because of this. Thank God it's Friday!
