The province of Lucban in Quezon is known for this local delicacy. It is sauteed noodles mixed with pork, pork liver, shrimp, and vegetables.
It is called habhab because of the way you eat it. You do not have to use your hands or any utensils at all. It is served in a small rectangular piece of banana leaf (just about the size of your hand) which serves as your plate. You then eat it using your mouth only. It is best eaten when it's hot and with a drizzle of cane vinegar to enhance the flavor.
Whenever you are in Lucban, Quezon, don't miss the chance to eat the authentic pancit habhab and experience the unique way of eating it.
