Pansit Batil Patong is a noodle delicacy that is very popular in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan. Batil means "beat the egg" and Patong means "placed on top" . This is made out of Tuguegarao's pansit miki, water buffalo's meat(carabao's meat), vegetables, topped with egg and added some chicharon together with the egg soup which is separated from the noodles and the spicy toyomansi sauce with white onions.
I was able to find an eatery here that serves Cagayan's best foods like Pancit Cabagan, Batil patong, Tuguegarao's longanisa, and some Cagayan products like Chicharabao and Alcala Milk Candies and many more. To be honest, I tasted Tuguegarao's Batil Patong for the first time here in the City of Pines and it's the best pansit I've ever tasted. It's my first time to eat this kind of noodles that you have to eat it with the egg soup and add spicy sauce full of white onions.
This eatery has a small space only but serves legit Tuguegarao foods according to their crew and customers. They are also offering for pick up and door to door delivery in Baguio area. Many want it and space is just too small for them but that didn't stop the customers to taste that delicious food. Every time we go there, there's so many bilaos of pansit ready for taking out, pick up and for delivery.
