Yes it's been a couple days since St Patrick's Day, but thought I'd share what the kids created for our green breakfast.
First off we are not Irish, we are Chirish...That is Chicago Irish. As in all of Chicago becomes Irish for a weekend.
Our day started off with a meal that looked like a trickster leprechaun had created it. Instead it was just my trickster kids. Best part is my Oldest took the camera and took photos of everything for me and insisted on me making this post.
She says all proceeds are for them come vacation time...think that can be arranged. So all upvotes are going to be given to the kids and this summer I'll do a post about what they did with their money.
A simple meal made by my 12 and 8 year olds of Green Eggs, Green Biscuits (kind of), Sausage, and Green Milk
Really all you need for this fun meal is some food dye. It works for Valentines Day with Red also. A few more photos they took as they were cooking.
Now the biscuits meant a green finger as they didn't think about the fact that the food dye would dye their skin too...lol.
This looks SOOO bad, but ends up just tasting like eggs.
They didn't take a photo of the sausage cooking, but not bad work for their first time taking photos for a blog post. Plus the meal was a nice surprise for my Wife and I.
