Today I would like to show you a traditional dinner dish from Poland called Kotlet Schabowy [ˈkɔtlɛt sxaˈbɔvɨ] - unfortunately as far as I know this dish doesn't have an equivalent english name.
What you see in the picture are:
- Young potatoes with butter and dill leaves
- Kotlet schabowy prepared from chicken breast
- Mushroom sauce
In presented version it's prepared from chicken breast but it's worth to mention that the most traditional and common version of this dish is prepared from pork chop.
Usually this dish is served without sauce.
Most often served with a Mizeria salad - sliced cucumbers with sour cream.
