On a hot summer Sunday afternoon everybody craves a cool refreshing drink. I sat on my window, reading or looking outside into the incredibly blue sky and checked in my minds eye what in the kitchen and in the fridge could make an appealing combination to quench my thirst and hydrates my body.
The day before I bought this beautiful white currants and there was a pomegranate waiting for its task in the fruit basket.Β
With my siphon I turned plain, cold tap water into fizzy water. I mixed two teaspoons of elderflower sirup, two tablespoons of fresh squeezed lemon juice and some fruits in a glass and filled it up with the sparkling water. Ice cubes would have been nice but weren't available. Some lemon balm leaves to add something green, for the nice taste and for the fancy look - Ready!Β
I continued my quiet afternoon in my chair by the window ... βοΈ
