George, The Protector

Hi all, since the start of the contest I wanted to participate but have no idea of what card to do, then I saw one game on twitch where the opponent of the streamer had one Polyhymnia, Aetheric on the board and he was in a difficult situation because he had nothing that could handle with that. I am not religious but later I had some thoughts about a particular saint that on his images he is killing a dragon with a lance, its Saint George, said as a saint protector, a deffensor and a helper in the difficult situations. I felt all this so relatable with the struggle against Polyhymnia, Aetheric that I had to do a card with this. So, I created George, The Protector.

How did I fared in my debut? Of course, I lost. In fact, I got beaten quite badly. Have you ever wondered, what is the highest level, a player has achieved in Gods Unchained? These statistics are based on the official data from the Gods Unchained API. I collected the data from the API in my own database and wrote a small report to extract these statistics.

Hey all, a week ago I celebrated my first week on Hive by organizing a community contest. (Article: Peakd) The contest rules were simple - just create a custom Gods Unchained card using gucustom.cards or otherwise that you wish existed in-game. I put up an Einar, the Frozen King, a Valka's Captain, and 2 Guild Enforcers up from my personal collection as the contest prizes - hopefully just a little treat for the effort that some of the contestants put in. More than anything, I hoped that a friendly contest would help introduce a bit of diversity into the posts within the community. I'm really glad that many submissions came in and I was thrilled to see all the custom cards that the community created.

In today's post I want to share with you more information about an amazing legendary creature from Aeona, Goddess of Nature, the powerful Gersemi, Freyja's Spear.

I will bring more information and my opinion about the card, its potential, its abilities and what my strategy is in game, including a gameplay that demonstrates well a battle in which I got total success with the strategy.

A lot of new players have started playing Gods Unchained recently. The launch of the Play to Earn mechanics of the game through implementation of the $GODS token and re-opening of The Forge which enabled players mint their cards and sell it to the market -- has attracted new users from all over the world.

After losing badly in my 1st tournament, I did not hesitate to try again in another one. The 2nd tournament is Toxic Holidays Spectacular organised by Fakemews9 or Toxic_GU. It is a single elimination bracket style and permitted cards are Welcome, Core and Order set. But no epic, legendary nor mythic cards are allowed. This does make things a bit more level for beginners like me.

Good Day Fellow Hivers,Gods unchained is picking up in terms of popularity and more and more newbies are coming on board. Since the game is in Beta there are no clear instructions on how to set things up....which of course results in most players going F2P even if they have the affordable cash to invest. I would not want to miss out on the forging and selling of cards as that is the primary way to get eth/gods tokens from within the game. It especially helps if you are in a country that cannot let you buy crypto with credit cards.
