So today I decided to do my 24 HR Fasting. I wanted to do it for the last month, but because I just finished my 1 month of Caffeine Fasting, I didn't think it would be a good time or idea to do these two fastings at once, so I decided to wait a little bit more until I feel stronger and better after the caffeine detox, which I will share my experience with you guys very soon.
So to tell you the truth, I was going to wait a little bit longer to do my 24 hr fasting, but when I woke up today in the morning, I just felt like doing it today, since Saturdays would be the best days for me to do it.
So, because I ate quite late last night, (7 pm), I had to wait to 7 pm today, which was more like 7:30 pm. I was actually really nervous about doing this, since I love, love food and the idea of not eating for 24 hrs, really scared me, but again I felt so ready and dedicated to try it and do it, just like I did with quitting caffeine.
Because on Saturdays I always clean my house and do laundry, I thought that is the perfect day to do fasting , since I am always so busy doing all the chores that day, which can keep my mind of food.
In the morning, I only drank warm water with Lemon essential oil, which is perfect for cleansing your body and liver of toxins.
I decided to go for an hour walk, since it was a gorgeous day and being outside always keeps my mind off food and it is very relaxing.
Throughout the whole day, all I did is drink a lot of water, especially when I started to feel a little hungry and my stomach was growling around 4 pm (3 more hrs to go).
I was really surprised that I was not that very hungry all day, and still had a lot of energy to do all the things today.
Around 5 pm, I did get a bit dizzy and light-headed, so I drank even more water. When 7 o'clock came, I was ready to eat, but I wasn't starving, which was good.
So my overall experience of 24 hr fasting was fantastic since after I finally ate, I felt really good and like I said throughout the whole day I felt energized and I felt even better after I had food.
I felt so good afterward, that I will try to do this once a week for at least a month and see how I feel. For one thing, I know is that it will be great for weight loss and I really felt good doing it.
I had no more time to share the health benefits of fasting because it is really late here already, and I need to go to bed, so I will just have to share the benefits with you the next time.
I would love to hear from you, if you ever had done Fasting, what kind of fasting and how it benefited you. I will share more about the benefits of Fasting and why I decided to try it.
Have a wonderful rest of the weekend, my lovely hive friends.
God Bless!
