The other sunday i made pancakes for breakfast... changed the recipe while adding some wholegrain flour, buckwheat flour and chateigne flour - which changed them quite a bit in the way that you feel nourished after two. Hehehe.
So there where still two thefty pancakes left today and to me this cries for something special in the "No Waste Of Taste" - leftover section. No sooner said than done i was making a sandwich out of it. What's new, hein?
But there it is, can i call it a sandwich using pancakes? Something i really want your input in the comments, if you don't mind please! To me it is actually on the brink of a yes and no... Yes because it's in between two slices of baked dough, no because you can't really eat it with one hand. But that's maybe doo to my incapability to cook "small" menues. Hahaha
The Ingredients
- Two Homemade Pancakes
- Chinese Cabbage
- Tofu Japanese Style
- Radish
- Some Goat & Cow Cheese
- Coriander
- Homemade Sweet Chilli Sauce
It worked quite well to make me a delicious brunch. It was really juicy and the sweet and sour take works fine with the sweet pancakes. But hey, what's the saying in Germany again? If the devil is hungry, he's able to eat flies.
And please, again: I would love to have your input on the "Is it a sandwich when made with two pancakes" part... really would help me decide so we all can be sure it's not going against the guidelines of this club here! Smirk!!
