Hello, friends, have a lovely day! I hope youâre all well and had a good weekend. As for me, Iâm doing quite well, thank goodness. Iâll tell you that today was a day off, so we didnât cook at home; Fer and I decided to go out and meet up at a restaurant we really like for its delicious Japanese food.
The main idea was to have dinner there, but in the end we decided to have lunch and then pop round a shopping centre. When we arrived at âDame Ramenâ, it was quite busy; however, the service was quite quick. We decided to order a starter of three onigiri served with a sweet sauce. I didnât really like this starter; the rice was a bit hard and the tuna had a peculiar taste that I didnât really care for; Iâd recommend their gyoza instead.
I also decided to try one of their imported beers, called âLinoâ, which come in different colours: there was a black one, a red one, a blue one, an orange one and the one I ordered, which was the white one; I absolutely loved this one â it was really refreshing and had a quite mild flavour with hints of citrus. Absolutely delicious!
For the main course, Fer decided to order a ramen called âChashu ramenâ, which looked incredible and had a really delicious broth. For my part, I went for the dish Iâd ordered last time, the âAburi Chashu donâ, which had a base of sushi rice, kimchi, spinach, marinated eggs, flambĂ©ed pork, chives and nori seaweed; itâs spectacular. In fact, I thought the kimchi had more flavour this time, so when I mixed everything together on the plate, every bite was even more addictive.
In the end, we paid a total of 160,000 Colombian pesos (US$43.36), including the appetizers, main courses, drinks and tip. As always, it was an incredible experience eating at this restaurant, so I highly recommend it. Without further ado, I hope youâve had a good day, friends. See you in the next post, a hug â€ïž.
