Hola amigos amantes de la buena comida, feliz día! Espero que se encuentren muy bien y que hayan disfrutado de su fin de semana. Por mi parte, me encuentro bastante bien, feliz de compartir con ustedes la reseña de un lugar muy bonito al que tuve la oportunidad de ir en la ciudad de Bogotá.
El lugar se llama Rabbit y aunque es una pequeña panadería francesa donde puedes encontrar tortas frescas, roll de canela, croissants, galletas, entre otras cosas. También, puedes encontrar unas pizzas artesanales preparadas con masa madre que son realmente deliciosas.
Hello friends lovers of good food, happy day! I hope you are feeling great and that you enjoyed your weekend. For my part, I am feeling pretty good, happy to share with you the review of a very nice place I had the opportunity to go to in the city of Bogota.
The place is called Rabbit and although it is a small French bakery where you can find fresh cakes, cinnamon rolls, croissants, cookies, among other things. Also, you can find some artisanal pizzas prepared with sourdough that are really delicious.
En el menú hay muchísimas opciones y aunque todas las combinaciones se leían deliciosas nuestras acompañantes nos recomendaron la ''rabbit'' que contiene pepperoni, piña caramelizada y queso mozzarella, por un valor de $26.000 pesos Colombianos ($6.30 Dólares) y mientras esperábamos a que nuestro pedido saliera del horno nos pusimos a echarle un vistazo al pequeño lugar.
El restaurante queda ubicado en el centro de Bogotá, en el Centro comercial City U para ser más precisos y aunque es bastante pequeño yo lo sentí muy acogedor y decorado de una manera muy linda, desde donde estábamos sentados podíamos ver como la chica preparaba las pizzas y al momento en que salían del horno.
In the menu there are many options and although all the combinations looked delicious our companions recommended us the ''rabbit'' which contains pepperoni, caramelized pineapple and mozzarella cheese, for a value of $26.000 Colombian pesos ($6.30 dollars) and while we were waiting for our order to come out of the oven we took a look at the small place.
The restaurant is located in downtown Bogota, in the City U shopping center to be more precise and although it is quite small I felt it very cozy and decorated in a very nice way, from where we were sitting we could see how the girl was preparing the pizzas and when they came out of the oven.
Al final llegó nuestra pizza y se veía deliciosa, me encantó la manera en que los bordes se veían infladitos y al primer mordisco podías sentir la masa crocante pero suave, era fina y con una buena cantidad de queso, la piña se podía sentir fresca y solo basto con añadirle un poco de orégano para que quedara perfecta.
Pensábamos que no sería suficiente para los 4 pero nos equivocamos totalmente, cada uno salió a dos pedazos y quedamos súper bien. Sin duda, una de las mejores pizzas que he podido probar. Quedamos con ganas de probar la de tres quesos o la Diavola pero es algo que tenemos pendiente para nuestro próximo viaje.
Finally our pizza arrived and it looked delicious, I loved the way the edges looked puffy and at the first bite you could feel the crunchy but soft dough, it was thin and with a good amount of cheese, the pineapple could be felt fresh and it was enough to add a little oregano to make it perfect.
We thought it would not be enough for the 4 of us but we were totally wrong, each one came out with two pieces and we were super good. Without a doubt, one of the best pizzas I have ever tasted. We are looking forward to try the three cheese or the Diavola but it is something we have pending for our next trip.
Algo que me gustó mucho es que la atención es muy rápida, por lo que no tuvimos que esperar tanto para disfrutar de nuestra cena. Al final, como postre me pedí una galleta con chips de chocolate por $5.000 Pesos Colombianos ($1.21 Dólares) la cual el chico que nos atendió me hizo el favor de calentar y estaba súper rica.
Después de salir del restaurante decidimos dar un pequeño paseo por el Centro comercial para conocerlo y nuestra noche terminó admirando las lindas luces de la ciudad en la terraza. Mi suegra si me había comentado que las pizzas de este lugar eran muy ricas pero no sabía que tanto, así que si tienes la oportunidad de pasar por el restaurante te recomiendo no desaprovecharla. Something I really liked is that the service is very fast, so we didn't have to wait so long to enjoy our dinner. At the end, for dessert I ordered a chocolate chip cookie for $5.000 Colombian Pesos ($1.21 Dollars) which the guy who served us did me the favor of warming it up and it was super tasty.
After leaving the restaurant we decided to take a little walk around the mall to get to know it and our night ended admiring the beautiful lights of the city on the terrace. My mother-in-law had told me that the pizzas at this place were very tasty but I didn't know how much, so if you have the opportunity to stop by the restaurant I recommend you not to miss it.
