Plato navideño – Restaurante Fornobrasa [ESP-ENG]

El mes de Diciembre es el mes más esperado por todos, ya que es caracterizado por las distintas celebraciones, reuniones, sorpresas y muchas otras tradiciones muy bonitas que hacemos en este mes, pero no podemos dejar por fuera las distintas comidas que se preparan en estas fechas, comidas que son muy ricas, variadas, muy nutritivas y a la hora de servirlo vienen acompañados por varios contornos. Para mí es una de las mejores comidas de verdad que no me cansaría de comerlo, cabe destacar de que cada familia tendrá su formar de prepararlos, son espaciales para almorzar e incluso cenar.

El fin de semana que paso tuve el honor de reunirme con algunos hivers de Maturín, donde estuvimos celebrando y llevando a cabo un pequeño compartir de navidad, donde aprovechamos para conversar y planificar algunos proyectos para el próximo año. Para esta celebración nos fuimos a un restaurante conocido como Fornobrasa, un lugar que cuenta con una gran variedad de comida en su menú, tiene música en vivo, un gran espacio muy agradable para que los clientes se sienten y disfruten, además con una excelente atención pendiente si se necesita cualquier cosa, así que esta vez nos sorprendieron con un rico almuerzo un plato navideño.

The month of December is the most awaited month by everyone, as it is characterized by the various celebrations, meetings, surprises and many other beautiful traditions that we do in this month, but we can not leave out the various meals that are prepared on these dates, meals that are very rich, varied, very nutritious and when it comes to serve it are accompanied by various contours. For me it is one of the best meals, I really would not get tired of eating it, it is worth mentioning that each family will have their own way of preparing them, they are very special for lunch and even dinner.

Last weekend I had the honor to meet with some hivers from Maturin, where we were celebrating and having a little Christmas sharing, where we took the opportunity to talk and plan some projects for next year. For this celebration we went to a restaurant known as Fornobrasa, a place that has a great variety of food on its menu, has live music, a great space very nice for customers to sit and enjoy, also with an excellent attention pending if you need anything, so this time we were surprised with a rich lunch a Christmas dish.

Cuando llegamos al restaurante estaba un poco lleno, pero ya había una mesa reservada donde se encontraban algunos hivers, así que por esa parte no hubo problema, mientras esperábamos ser atendidos conversábamos, nos reímos, luego un mesonero muy amable fue llevando los platos, las servilletas, los cubiertos, los manteles para la mesa, la arreglo en un momento y le quedo muy bien. Así que la comida estaba muy cerca de llegar, decíamos todos, además era la primera vez que comía en ese restaurante un plato navideño así que tenía muchas ganas de probar que tal era la comida y los sabores de cada uno de los acompañantes que conforman este plato.

When we arrived at the restaurant it was a little crowded, but there was already a table reserved where some hivers were, so there was no problem, while we were waiting to be served we talked, we laughed, then a very kind waiter was taking the plates, napkins, cutlery, tablecloths for the table, he arranged it in a moment and it was very good. So the food was very close to arrive, we all said, besides it was the first time I ate in that restaurant a Christmas dish so I was looking forward to try the food and the flavors of each of the side dishes that make up this dish.

No paso mucho tiempo cuando los mesoneros comenzaron a llevar los platos con mucho cuidado para la mesa, era algo impresionante por la cantidad de comida que se veía desde lejos y el tamaño de plato, el plato navideño contenía por una hallaca, ensalada de gallina, asado negro y pan de jamón, se puede decir que estaba bien resuelto. Todo tenía un olor muy rico cuando lo colocaron en la mesa, buena presentación, así que las ganas de comer cada vez era más grande y sobre todo degustar ese exquisito plato.

It did not take long when the waiters began to bring the dishes carefully to the table, it was something impressive for the amount of food that could be seen from afar and the size of the plate, the Christmas plate contained a hallaca, chicken salad, black roast and ham bread, you could say that it was well resolved. Everything had a very nice smell when it was placed on the table, good presentation, so the desire to eat was getting bigger and bigger and especially to taste that exquisite dish.

En cuanto a los contornos del plato me gustaron muchísimo, sobre todo el asado negro por ser un corte de carne especial y la salsa que lo acompañaba estaba muy rica, se nota que tiene un buen cheff y que llevo unas cuantas horas de cocina, dedicación y técnica para que quedara con ese color, además cada uno de los condimentos para su preparación le daban un toque especial. La ensalada de gallina también estaba sabrosa, tenía un poco de pimentón por la parte de arriba y guisantes, para darle un color distinto y sabor único a la ensalada, así que con eso me sorprendió. Además, el pan de jamón y la hallaca estaba muy rica, con un buen gusto el guiso, de verdad que el plato navideño estuvo muy sabroso.

As for the contours of the dish I liked it very much, especially the black roast for being a special cut of meat and the sauce that accompanied it was very rich, you can tell that it has a good chef and that it took a few hours of cooking, dedication and technique to get that color, plus each of the seasonings for its preparation gave it a special touch. The chicken salad was also tasty, it had a bit of paprika on top and peas, to give a different color and unique flavor to the salad, so that surprised me. Also, the ham bread and the hallaca was very tasty, with a good taste to the stew, the Christmas dish was really tasty.

Aún quedaba otra sorpresa para después del almuerzo, un delicioso postre, un de dulce de lechosa, fue algo que nadie se lo esperaba. Este es uno de los dulces navideños que forman parte de nuestra tradición, así que nos sirvieron en un pequeño vaso de vidrio este delicioso dulce de lechosa acompañado con su respectivo caramelo. Un dulce que estaba muy rico, de verdad que estaba en su punto y la lechosa no estaba ni tan dura ni tan blandita, y el caramelo estaba bien de dulce. Lo único malo es que fue muy poquito, así cerramos con broche de oro este almuerzo que tuvimos en Fornobrasa, el cual fue nuestro anfitrión para nuestro almuerzo de navidad.

There was still another surprise for after lunch, a delicious dessert, a dulce de lechosa, was something that no one expected. This is one of the Christmas sweets that are part of our tradition, so we were served in a small glass cup this delicious milky sweet accompanied with its respective candy. It was really delicious, the milky milk was not too hard or too soft, and the caramel was very sweet. The only bad thing is that it was very little, so we closed with a flourish this lunch we had in Fornobrasa, which was our host for our Christmas lunch.

De esta manera culminamos nuestro compartir y almuerzo navideño, luego nos quedamos escuchando algo de música, estaba muy buena, ya que tenía un poco de todo y para todos los gustos de las personas que estábamos allí en el restaurante, seguimos conversando, riéndonos y muchas fotos para el recuerdo. Fue un rato maravilloso poder compartir de nuevo con nuestros amigos de hive Maturín.

In this way we culminated our sharing and Christmas lunch, then we stayed listening to some music, it was very good, since it had a little bit of everything and for all the tastes of the people who were there in the restaurant, we continued talking, laughing and many photos for the memory. It was a wonderful time to share again with our friends from hive Maturin.
