Soy fan de las aplicaciones de comida delivery por varias razones que les contaré en otro post, pero una de ellas es que son muy útiles cuando ocurre alguna situación que nos impide cocinar en casa. El día de ayer en horas de la tarde me percaté de que el gas decidió tomar sus maletas e irse de la casa jajaja, debo confesar que como buena amante de la comida, no me molestó tanto la situación. Tomé mi teléfono y abrí "pedidos ya", una aplicación de comida delivery.

Yesterday afternoon I noticed that the gas decided to take his bags and leave the house hahaha, I must confess that as a good food lover, I was not that bothered by the situation. I took my phone and opened "pedidos ya", a food delivery app.

Soy una persona bastante indecisa a la hora de comer, siempre quiero elegir la opción perfecta así que puedo pasar hasta una hora (incluso más) detallando establecimientos, menús, ingredientes y todo lo que deba ser analizado con detenimiento para realizar una excelente compra ✅ Al inicio estaba decidida a irme por lo seguro y comprar sushi, pero hubo una fuerza mayor que hizo que me inclinara a buscar en el área de hamburguesas, esta fuerza se llama "antojo" 😂 Tenía demasiado tiempo sin comer hamburguesa y solo pensar en disfrutar de una buen pan, una carne jugosa y papas crujientes, me llevó a tomar la decisión de darle todo mi dinero a un establecimiento llamado "el templo", y debo contarles que ese nombre me dio un poco de risa ya que me imaginé al gremio eclesiástico vendiendo hamburguesas delivery desde el templo de Dios.

I'm a pretty indecisive person when it comes to eating, I always want to choose the perfect option so I can spend up to an hour (even more) detailing establishments, menus, ingredients and everything that should be carefully analyzed to make an excellent purchase ✅ At the beginning I was determined to go for the sure thing and buy sushi, but there was a greater force that made me inclined to look in the area of burgers, this force is called "craving" 😂 I had too long without eating a hamburger and just thinking about enjoying a good bun, juicy meat and crispy fries, led me to make the decision to give all my money to an establishment called "the temple", and I must tell you that this name gave me a little laugh because I imagined the ecclesiastical guild selling hamburgers delivery from the temple of God.

Dejando a un lado los chistes vamos con lo que nos interesa, el review de mi elección. Pedí una hamburguesa llamada "champion", me llamó la atención porque entre sus ingredientes incluía champiñones salteados y yo soy FAN de los champiñones, de igual manera tuve mis dudas porque generalmente cuando una hamburguesa incluye este delicioso manjar de los dioses, la cantidad no es muy generosa, pero decidí darles el beneficio de la duda porque si existía la leve posibilidad de que fuesen realmente un templo de Dios, los hermanos de la iglesia no me iban a negar los champiñones.

Leaving aside the jokes, let's go to what we are interested in, the review of my choice. I ordered a hamburger called "champion", it caught my attention because among its ingredients it included sautéed mushrooms and I am a FAN of mushrooms, I also had my doubts because usually when a hamburger includes this delicious delicacy of the gods, the amount is not very generous, but I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt because if there was a slight possibility that they were really a temple of God, the brothers of the church were not going to deny me the mushrooms.

El pedido llegó en unos 30 minutos aproximadamente, me parece un tiempo bastante adecuado ya que es casi lo que tarda un restaurante en llevarte la comida a la mesa. Mi primera impresión al abrir la caja es que se veía bastante sencilla, incluso un poco pequeña, pero si algo he aprendido durante estos años de catadora de hamburguesas es que nunca hay que juzgar el tamaño, a veces es engañoso (esto aplica para muchas cosas en la vida). Lo primero que probé fueron las papas para verificar que no estuviesen suaves, esto suele pasar cuando pides comida a domicilio porque el vapor hace que pierdan crocancia, en esta ocasión no fue así, por ese lado ya íbamos bien.

The order arrived in about 30 minutes, which seems to me to be an adequate time since it is almost as long as it takes a restaurant to bring the food to your table. My first impression when I opened the box was that it looked quite plain, even a little small, but if I have learned anything during these years of burger tasting is that you should never judge the size, sometimes it is misleading (this applies to many things in life). The first thing I tasted were the potatoes to verify that they were not soft, this usually happens when you order delivery food because the steam makes them lose their crunchiness, on this occasion it was not like that, on that side we were already doing well.

El empaque de la hamburguesa también me gustó, como amante del marketing me agrada cuando una marca invierte en su imagen, no fue nada del otro mundo, pero me pareció nice. Al sacar a mi pequeña pero engañosa amiga de la caja, mis ojos se pusieron como los del emoji 👀👀 resulta que como la hamburguesa estaba acostada, sus ingredientes más deseados se había movilizado sigilosamente hacia la parte de abajo 😱 al verla desde otra perspectiva supe que "el templo" se había ganado mi hambriento corazón; la cantidad de champiñones era extremadamente generosa, esto hizo que mi rostro se iluminara, hice una pausa en mi suculenta aventura y le agradecí a Dios por nunca desampararme.

I also liked the packaging of the burger, as a marketing lover I like it when a brand invests in its image, it was nothing to write home about, but I thought it was nice. When I took my little but deceptive friend out of the box, my eyes went emoji 👀👀 it turns out that as the burger was lying down, its most desired ingredients had stealthily moved to the bottom 😱 when I saw it from another perspective I knew that "the temple" had won my hungry heart; the quantity of mushrooms was extremely generous, this made my face light up, I paused in my succulent adventure and thanked God for never forsaking me.

Procedí a probar mi pedido y evaluarlo como la autoproclamada catadora profesional de hamburguesas que soy. El pan estaba muy bueno, me gustó que tienen su propio sello el cual le colocan con calor en la parte de arriba, la carne también estaba deliciosa, entre sus salsas solo incluía salsa de tomate y queso derretido lo cual me gustó, pero me hizo desear algún toque de ajo, pero se que esto es porque amo el ajo y no porque realmente le hiciera falta. Me gustó que tenía cebollas caramelizadas y una especie de pepinillos finamente rebanados que le daban un pequeño y perfecto toque de acidez 👌 Definitivamente esta fue una buena elección, gasté menos de $7 y me estómago quedó sumamente agradecido, lo único que no me agradó de toda esta experiencia fue que unos minutos después de comer, volvió el gas y mis hermanos decidieron hacer hamburguesas en casa, quedé así 🤡 pero no me arrepiento, un adulto siempre se hace responsable de sus decisiones jajaja. I proceeded to taste my order and evaluate it as the self-proclaimed professional burger taster that I am. The bun was very good, I liked that they have their own seal which is placed with heat on the top, the meat was also delicious, among their sauces it only included ketchup and melted cheese which I liked, but it made me wish for a touch of garlic, but I know this is because I love garlic and not because it really needed it. I liked that it had caramelized onions and some sort of finely sliced pickles which gave it a perfect little touch of acidity 👌 Definitely this was a good choice, I spent less than $7 and my stomach was extremely grateful, the only thing that didn't please me about this whole experience was that a few minutes after eating, the gas came back and my brothers decided to make burgers at home, I was left like this 🤡 but I don't regret it, an adult always takes responsibility for his decisions hahaha.
