¡Hola Foodies! Tenía mucha hambre y aproveché a preparar una super ensalada cargada de sabor y nutrición. Las ensaladas no tienen que ser aburridas.
Hi Foodies! I was really hungry so I took the opportunity to prepare a super salad loaded with flavor and nutrition. Salads don't have to be boring.
Quería comer algo fresco pero que pudiera compartir, esta ensalada es receta de una franquicia venezolana llamada Miga'scafé su menú está lleno de ensaladas, sándwich y wraps deliciosas; también cuentan con postres y bebidas frías y calientes deliciosas para pasar la tarde.
I wanted to eat something fresh but that I could share, this salad is a recipe from a Venezuelan franchise called Miga's café their menu is full of delicious salads, sandwiches and wraps; they also have delicious desserts and hot and cold drinks to pass the afternoon.
My inspiration to make it at home is that that delicious salad has a current cost of almost 14$ (for one person) 🥺 and my budget ummmm let's say, we don't have budget as
says 🙈 but I have creativity to spare.
If anything characterizes me is having a palate sensitive enough to reproduce recipes in fact it was something I shared with my brother when he lived in Venezuela, he would invite me to eat with the intention that I would discover the ingredients and then reproduce them at home. Today I had to make it on my own but I still sent him pictures.
A few days ago I had bought sliced black olives and as I didn't have bacon I ended up using smoked shoulder ham, it was just the same, the recipe is enough for three people in good portions, the rest of the ingredients I had at home.

- Bag of European lettuce mix (lettuce, romaine lettuce, endive, radicchio)
- Canned corn
- Two seedless tomatoes
- Half red onion in brunoise
- Black olives
- 100 grams of mozzarella or yellow gouda cheese, diced.
- 50 grams of baked or grilled ham or bacon until toasted, then grind.
- Half an avocado chopped in squares
- Two boiled and quartered eggs.
- For the dressing, one tablespoon of honey, one tablespoon of vinegar, one tablespoon of mayonnaise and three tablespoons of mustard.
- Chicken breasts I put one fillet per person, seasoned with salt, garlic and pepper, cooked on the grill and cut into pieces at the moment of serving.

Les puedo decir que está ensalada sacia bastante se puede acompañar también con casabe o galletas pero así sólita es una delicia.
I can tell you that this salad is very satisfying and can also be served with cassava or crackers, but on its own it is a delight.
