Soy de las personas que aman celebrar las ocasiones especiales con una buena comida, bien sea hecha en casa o saliendo a comer en un restaurante lindo, en este caso la ocasión fue el cumpleaños de Dani y su elección fue salir a almorzar, petición a la que no me pude negar.

I'm one of those people who love to celebrate special occasions with a good meal, whether it's homemade or out at a nice restaurant. In this case, the occasion was Dani's birthday, and she wanted to go out for lunch, a request I couldn't refuse.

Nos fuimos al centro comercial Jockey Plaza y nos dirigimos a la feria gastronómica, sin embargo, estaba tan lleno todo que no conseguimos en donde comer, pero caminando un poco conseguimos un restaurante llamado Johnny Rockets donde habían mesas disponibles y fue allí donde almorzamos.

We went to the Jockey Plaza shopping center and headed to the food court. However, it was so crowded that we couldn't find anywhere to eat. But after walking a bit, we found a restaurant called Johnny Rockets with available tables, and that's where we had lunch.

Es un restaurante bastante lindo y pintoresco al estilo clásico de un American Diner, con una ambiente que te transporta a una típica cafetería estadounidense de los años 50.

It's a rather charming and quaint restaurant in the classic style of an American diner, with an atmosphere that transports you to a typical American cafeteria from the 1950s.

Entramos y elegimos una mesa y nos llevaron el menú, en su mayoría las opciones eran de hamburguesas y otras platos completos así como porciones de papas fritas y también postres.

We went in, chose a table, and they brought us the menu. Most of the options were hamburgers, along with other full meals, portions of fries, and desserts.

Pedimos 3 opciones diferentes del menú para experimentar y para esperar por la comida pedimos un Milshake de Hershey's que nos llamó mucho la atención al ver la foto en el menú.

We ordered three different menu items to experiment, and while we waited for our food, we ordered a Hershey's milkshake, which had caught our eye when we saw the picture on the menu.

Al igual que la ambientación del restaurante la comida también tenía ese aspecto clásico de las cafeterías de los años 50, pues, este Milshake no solo lucia delicioso sino también lindo y llamativo.

Al poco tiempo llegó la comida a nuestra mesa y tan solo de ver cada plato se nos hacia agua la boca.

Por mi parte pedí una hamburguesa Bacon Cheddar, que constaba de una carne de 150 gr, bacon, tomate, queso cheddar, lechuga, cebolla y salsa especial de la casa, todo con un delicioso y suave pan brioche con el nombre del restaurante estampado en la parte superior de la hamburguesa.

I ordered a Bacon Cheddar burger, which consisted of a 150g beef patty, bacon, tomato, cheddar cheese, lettuce, onion, and the house's special sauce, all on a delicious, soft brioche bun with the restaurant's name emblazoned on top.

Esta hamburguesa además de tener un buen tamaño y una buena cantidad de relleno también venía acompañada de una ración de papas fritas rizadas super crocantes y deliciosas.

This burger, besides being a good size and generously filled, also came with a side of super crispy and delicious curly fries.

Daniel por su parte pidió un plato llamado Prime Cowboy Steak, compuesto por un medallón de carne de res jugoso y suave, acompañado de arroz con bacon y huevos, papas al estilo hashbrown, ensalada cocida, lechuga y tomate, un platillo bastante completo y delicioso.

Adicionalmente pedimos una porción de papas hashbrown acompañadas de delgados y jugosos filetes de carne de res con topping de queso cheddar y cebollín.

Nuestra experiencia en Johnny Rockets fue bastante buena, la comida fue increíble y de muy buena calidad, los precios acordes del servicio, la ambientación la amamos por completo y lo mejor de todo es que el cumpleañero lo disfrutó. Ahora, tengo como tarea personal ir nuevamente en otra oportunidad a probar otros de sus postres o tal vez probar de nuevo sus Milshakes que me encantaron.

Our experience at Johnny Rockets was quite good. The food was amazing and of very high quality, the prices were reasonable for the service, we absolutely loved the atmosphere, and best of all, the birthday boy enjoyed it. Now, I have made it my personal mission to go back another time to try some of their other desserts or maybe try their milkshakes again, which I loved.
