Hey bloggers, what are you cooking today? Today I'm going to share a recipe for sweet and spicy tofu that is savory and delicious, perfect as a side dish with rice for lunch.
Ingredients:
- 300 grams of tofu
- all-purpose flour
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 cloves of shallots
- 1/4 onion
- 3 red and green chilies
- vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons of sweet soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon of chili sauce
- pepper
- salt
- 100 ml of water
Steps:
- Wash the tofu thoroughly, then slice it into triangles or according to your preference.
- Coat the tofu with all-purpose flour.
- Fry in heated oil.
- Cook until the tofu is cooked and golden brown.
- Remove and set aside.
Put the sweet soy sauce, salted soy sauce, oyster sauce, and chili sauce, pepper, a little salt, and sugar into a bowl
Add water, stir until mixed, then set aside
- Slice the onions and chilies.
- Sauté the garlic and shallots.
- Add the onions and chilies.
- Cook until done.
- Add the sauce mixture that was made earlier.
- Wait a moment until it starts to boil.
- Add the fried tofu to it.
- Stir until well mixed.
- Turn off the heat and serve on a plate.
