New years day 2025 were were up early for Gloucester District parkrun
There was lots of other cool things to see in this area too like Gloucester Tops national park and Bucketts Scenic Walk named after a famous bush ranger in these parts.
Once back home we ventured up to Birtinya Island parkrun on the Sunshine Coast and bumped into an old work mate of mine.
The next 3 weeks was carry on luggage only.
We had never been on a plane this big before.
We flew all the way to Denmark for there Ascension Day Special parkrun in May for our 6th international parkrun country visited.
Lots of other parkrun enthusiasts had the same idea.
From Denmark to the England for another parkrun at Blaise castle.
Since we flew all the way to Europe we squashed in as much as possible. Including visiting family, friends and a second English parkrun at Delamere.
After England it was short flight to The Netherlands for there special event midweek parkrun at Kagerzoom. Our 8th International parkrun country done.
So much to do and see in the Netherlands.
Next was another cheap flight to Norway for our 9th International parkrun country visited.
Oslo was so neat, tidy and well organised.
We were able to squeeze a quick day trip into Malmo Sweden as well
We finished where we started in Copenhagen for our short 3 week European holiday.
Once back home it was catching up on maintenance.
We did our fair share of running and walking in the great Aussie bush.
and got to the beach more than a few times too.
Gainsbrough parklands was a new parkrun location for us.
As well as Queanbeyan parkrun in New South Wales visiting Caroline's family.
We did a weekend away down the Gold Coast with my mother and sister.
Coolum Eco parkrun made it 10 new parkrun locations for the year.
and lots of other repeats with friends.
