Hoy quiero compartirles una experiencia muy especial que viví hace tiempo en una competencia de calistenia que se realizó en los bloques de San Juan de Colón, estado Táchira.

Hello, my #Hive people and #SWC community! I hope you all continue to train hard and strive to improve yourselves both physically and personally every day. Today I want to share a very special experience I had a while ago at a calisthenics competition held in the San Juan de Colón gymnasium, Táchira state.

Llegamos al lugar con mi compañero Hive account@mclionblack-sw, y desde el principio se sintió una energía increíble. El comité organizador estuvo a cargo de Hive account@herryworkourt, quien junto a su equipo supo darle a la jornada un ambiente motivador y lleno de buena vibra. En el sitio nos encontramos con atletas de distintos municipios: Colón, Michelena, La Fría, entre otros. Fue inspirador ver cómo tanta gente se reúne alrededor de la disciplina del street workout, compartiendo la misma pasión. En mi categoría, que fue la avanzada, la rutina estuvo bastante exigente. Teníamos que hacer 10 dominadas, 5 muscle ups, 10 fondos en barra sin bajarnos, luego pasar a las paralelas para completar 20 fondos, y finalmente cerrar con 20 sentadillas y 10 zancadas por cada pierna. Todo esto se evaluaba con mucha atención a la técnica, ya que cualquier error podía significar una penalización. Para mí fue un gran reto, porque nunca había combinado todos esos ejercicios en una sola rutina de esa manera.

My partner Hive account@mclionblack-sw and I arrived at the venue, and from the start, we felt an incredible energy. The organizing committee was led by Hive account@herryworkourt, who, along with his team, created a motivating, good-vibe atmosphere. At the venue, we met athletes from different municipalities: Colón, Michelena, La Fría, among others. It was inspiring to see so many people come together around the discipline of street workout, sharing the same passion. In my category, which was the advanced category, the routine was quite challenging. We had to do 10 pull-ups, 5 muscle-ups, 10 dips on the bar without stepping down, then move to the parallel bars to complete 20 dips, and finally finish with 20 squats and 10 lunges for each leg. All of this was evaluated with great attention to technique, as any mistake could mean a penalty. For me, it was a great challenge because I had never combined all those exercises in a single routine like that.

Más allá de la exigencia física, fue una experiencia única que me permitió conocer a atletas increíbles como Hive account@omarzv-sw y otros talentos de la región. Me quedo con la satisfacción de haber competido, de haber aprendido y, sobre todo, de seguir creciendo dentro de esta hermosa disciplina.

Beyond the physical demands, it was a unique experience that allowed me to meet incredible athletes like Hive account@omarzv-sw and other talented athletes from the region. I am left with the satisfaction of having competed, of having learned, and, above all, of continuing to grow within this beautiful discipline.
