Hello, how are you? Greetings, friends! I hope you're all doing well and that you woke up with lots of energy and in good spirits to face this new day. Today I want to share some images from an active relaxation session I did, with the goal of continuing to gain flexibility while also giving my joints a little rest after a fairly demanding workout yesterday. In this session, I didn't try to push myself too hard; rather, I focused on moving consciously and fluidly, using a medium-tension elastic band, which ranges from 5 to 15 kg, ideal for this type of workout.
During this relaxation session, I worked on mobility and stretching exercises with the band, which helped me release tension, reduce muscle fatigue, and release that feeling of heaviness that sometimes builds up after several intense days of training. I want to emphasize how important these relaxation days are, as we often underestimate the power of active rest. It's not about being completely inactive, but rather giving your body what it needs to feel better, looser, and less stiff. Listening to your body is key to moving forward without hurting yourself or reaching the point of total exhaustion.
Sometimes we feel like we've been beaten up all over or like every muscle is complaining, which is why it's essential to take a moment to take care of ourselves. These days of mobility not only help you recover physically, but also reconnect with your body, feeling good and comfortable in your own skin. So I hope this message motivates you to respect your breaks and understand that recovery is also part of progress. Thank you for continuing to support my content. We continue to grow together... and here's to more!
