Everyone hope you all are doing fine. My days are going pretty good. Today I will share a recipe woth you which I have try at my home and taste really good.
Dumplings or Momos are chinese food. If you are feeling hungry you can try momos to satisfy your hunger. If you like to aviod extra oil momos are you best options. There are normally vegetables momos and chicken momos. But today I will share with you vegetables-chicken momos. This momos have highly nutrition value and they also taste better than those two types. You can try it to measure the taste. So lets see hoe you can make it.
INGREDIENTS
For Dough
-1 Tsp oil
- 2 cup plain flour
- Salt to taste
- water
For Stuffings:
- 2 cups of boneless Chicken
- 2 tbs (table spoon) finely chopped onion
- 2/3 pcs finely chopped Green chilli
- Soya Sauce
-1 Tsp ginger garlic paste - hlaf tea spoon crushed black pepper
- Carrot 1/4th cup
For Dipping Sauce
soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
water - 1 tablespoon
chili oil - 1 tbsp
sesame seed - 1/4 teaspoon
spring onions
Preparation
Dough
First take flour in a mixing bowl. Then add salt as your taste. Then add oil. Now mix the ingredients. Now add water and mix it again. You will make the dough gummy not hard or too soft. Cover the dough and keep it for at least half an hour.
Tips: Don't add water altogether. Add little water and mix it for 1 mins, then again add water and mix it. So you can get a perfect dough.
Stuffings
Make Mince of chicken meat. Now take the mince meat in a mixing bowl. Add soya sauce, garlic and ginger paste, chopped chills and onions, black pepper carrot. You can also use cabbage and carrot both. Now mix all the ingredients well. Cover it and keep it for half an hour.
Preparation
Take the dough roll it and cut it into small pieces.
Using a rolling pin, flatten the pieces in a round shape and add the stuffing at the center. Bring the edges and close all side to keep the stuffing inside.
There is various kinds of shapes you can give to your momos. But the round one's look good.
Repeat the same technic with the rest of the momos.
Now take a steam cooker and place it on the stove. When the water starts to boil take the upper part of the cooker and brush it with oil and place the momos on it. Make sure there is distance between every single piece. Because after cooking the momos will get bigger. If there is no space they will stick with one another.
Cook the momos for 15-20 mins. Your momos are ready to eat now.
Dipping Sauce
Take a pan and warm the oil. Now roast sesame seed and add to the oil. Then add spring onions, chilli oil, lemon juice, soya sauce and water. Mix the ingredients. Your dipping sauce is ready.
Your momos are ready to serve with the sauce.
