Maybe, you don't think that this drink that looks brown is a drink made from pumpkin.
In Indonesia, we have a wide variety of drinks. Although for pumpkin ice, I've never found it, except for Starbucks' Pumpkin Spice.
Pumpkin Puree

I have pumpkin puree in stock. Leftovers from making pumpkin pancakes. Then I thought about making Iced Pumpkin.
For sweetener, I use brown sugar. Without brown sugar, certainly, the color of this drink will not turn brown.
It's up to you to use what kind of sweetener and it doesn't matter whether it affects the color of the drink or not.
For milk, I use plant-based milk, coconut milk. You can replace it with almond milk or soy milk.
Ingredients
- 5-7 tablespoons of pumpkin puree
- 200 ml of water
- Enough coconut milk about 50 ml per serving
- Enough sweetener here I use about 20 ml of brown sugar.

How to make
- Blend pumpkin puree with 200 ml of water.
Then prepare other ingredients for serving.
Serving
- Add ice cubes to serving glasses.
- Then followed by adding pumpkin puree juice.
- Then add coconut milk.
- The final stage, add sweetener, brown sugar.
The Result
The taste of this drink is not strange even if you feel strange when you find out that the ingredients are made from pumpkin puree.
But honestly, nothing strange. And I find it a great drink and worth trying as a new, unusual drink.
SUGGESTION
You can add ground cinnamon when blending pumpkin puree with water to make this drink have a stronger and tastier aroma. Or you can sprinkle ground cinnamon at the end of the serving.
Then, you can serve this drink as a hot drink.
