Ui, it has been a lot of art on my blog lately!
That's because I'm painting most of the time at the moment, and I'm very happy about that :-)
The other main thing I'm doing, is kitchen stuff. I'm trying a lot of new things. Making things myself that I had bought before. Bread, syrup, spreads ... and oat milk!
Which is what I want to show you today.
And all you need is oat flakes, water and a blender!
There are different ways to make oat milk. I've decided for the simplest way possible:
In the morning, while I boil water for the coffee, I take 250 ml of water and about two tablespoons of oat flakes and blend it.
After that I pass it through a sieve (a piece of cloth would also work).
And that's all!
Of course you can take more water and more oat flakes if you need more than 250 ml of oat milk.
The intensity of the taste differs, depending on how much oats you mix in, so you can experiment until you find the perfect ratio for your taste.
You can also blend in a bit of salt or things to make it sweeter, like dates or sugar. Just be creative, you can't do anything wrong really!
The drink lasts for a few days if you put it in the fridge, but I usually make my fresh oat milk when I need it, because it's so easy and quickly made!
