A review of brands that are currently popular in Indonesia
Do you often have the desire to buy a product just because a product or brand is viral, becoming a conversation in the world of social media? If the answer is yes, then you are the same as me.
I've always wondered what it would be like to buy a viral product. Is it really worth buying, or in the end, the product is just the result of great digital marketing manipulation?
So when there is a product that I can still buy at a price, then I will buy that product. Especially concerning food and coffee.
This time I will tell you about a Toast product which is still a brand with a coffee and beverage brand that is also popular in Indonesia. The brand is called "JANJI JIWA".
This coffee brand is quite popular because it offers local Indonesian coffee with social values similar to that of Starbucks. But at a cheaper price.
How about the brand "JIWA TOAST"?
"JIWA TOAST" TO COMPLETE "JANJI JIWA COFFEE"
Toast and coffee, isn't that the perfect match? With this concept, this brand has made their toasts as popular as their beverage brands.
In the toast packaging box, there is also a quote that is meant to convey the message that toast is the best theme for drinking coffee. So by buying a drink from the "Janji Jiwa" brand, it will be incomplete if the consumer does not buy the toast from "Jiwa Toast".
To be honest, I became interested in trying this menu because it is popular. "JIWA TOAST" does not exist in my city. So I had to hold back my will for quite a while.
When I had the opportunity to meet my client in another city, I finally had the opportunity to buy "JIWA TOAST".
NICE THE PACKING STYLE
They are quite popular because of their good visuals. The toast is arranged in an “Instagram-able” packaging box. It makes buyers can't stop themselves from sharing "JIWA TOAST" on their social media.
For me personally, "JIWA TOAST" is quite visually artistic. Coupled with quotes in young people style who is popular in Indonesia, it makes this product have its own appeal in the hearts of buyers.
WORTH TO BUY?
At that time I ordered "JIWA TOAST" to be delivered to my location waiting for my client. I use the application "grabfood".
I ordered a Berry Caramel with Oreo drink, and two toasts. One toast for me, and another for my mom to take home for my mother at home.
For the Egg Curry Mayo menu, I ordered it for 22K IDR or around 1.5 USD.
Is this price worth buying, or are we just buying their popularity? Well, in my opinion, this is the normal price for a product in the franchise network system.
How does it feel? I think this is a delicious toast worth buying. I love the mayo sauce which is delicious and doesn't get boring on the tongue. So their popularity is not just about the results of their digital marketing strategy. It actually shows a pretty good quality of taste.
About the taste, it is a different taste for each buyer. Maybe some do not like this brand, and some do.
Several types of toast menus are available which also have very different flavors. Buyers might like that menu, but don't like other toast menus. So the assessment is influenced by many things and cannot be taken only from one side of the assessment.
To enjoy a meal that is popular now and then, that's fine. But if for frequent or recurring times, I choose to buy a main course dish which includes comfort food for me at the same price.
