In this world there are many types of food that comes from flour, one of which is Noodles. Who doesn't love noodles? There are many kinds of food in all corners of the world. In a country must have different types of noodles. Moreover, in Asia, Japanese noodles, Korean noodles and even noodles from Indonesia are also different. The basic ingredients for making noodles also vary in each country.
Especially in Indonesia, the types of noodles are very diverse. Even noodles can also come from different ethnicities/regions. For example, the noodles in Medan (North Sumatra) are called Mie Gomak and in Aceh there is also Mie Aceh. Mie Gomak and Mie Aceh are similar in shape but not the same. The color and shape are the same but the taste is different. Even the color of Mie Aceh is lighter than Mie Gomak.
Mie Aceh is usually sold in wet form, Mie Aceh is almost the same as Udon. There is no dry form of Aceh noodles, unlike gomak noodles which are sold dry like packaged noodles. Aceh noodle is usually also sold with a special wet seasoning. There is a lot of news circulating, this Aceh noodle is very distinctive with spices which are said to be mixed with a few seeds from marijuana. I don't know if this is right or wrong, he said a lot of cannabis growers come from aceh! (Sorry if this is wrong, but it's like an open secret). I've also heard that if we eat a plate of Acehnese noodles and it feels fly, it means that the Acehnese noodles we eat are mixed with a little marijuana seeds.
Mie Aceh Bang Am
Well, yesterday my husband took me to eat at a simple restaurant that used to be when we were still dating, we often visited that place. It is a special restaurant selling Aceh noodles. In my opinion, this is one of the best Aceh noodle restaurants, especially if we order some Aceh noodle menus with toppings!
At this restaurant, there are many menus of various types of Aceh noodles, seen on the menu there are Beef Aceh noodles, seafood Aceh noodles, Aceh shrimp noodles and even Aceh crab noodles. Of all the menus in this restaurant, I have never tried the Aceh Crab noodle menu. So I ordered 2 servings of Aceh crab noodles with pokat juice and sweet iced tea. I ordered 2 servings of Aceh noodles, not for myself, you know, I ordered for my husband too.
Choose Aceh Crab Noodle
Initially, our expectations with Aceh Crab Noodles were very simple. Mie aceh with one small crab, like most other aceh noodle restaurants. However, reality has changed 180 degrees. A waiter delivered 2 servings of Aceh noodles with very large crabs, even bigger than my palm. Then I asked the waiters, is this our order? CORRECT answer, and I was silent for a moment.
At that time I thought it was impossible for me to finish a plate of Aceh crab noodles alone, but it turned out that the Acehnese noodles were very delicious, I was also hungry to finish it myself, as well as my husband. The taste of this crab is very good, the crab also has a lot of meat and melts on the tongue. I got my clothes dirty without realizing it, because it's so hard to eat crab in the middle of a restaurant, maybe other customers thought I was very greedy at that time. But the moment I ate this Aceh crab noodle was photographed by my husband, because he said I was very cute when I ate it.
As usual, I'm never disappointed with the taste of Acehnese noodles at this restaurant, even though the price is a little higher than other Acehnese noodle restaurants (actually the price difference is very thin with other restaurants) but this restaurant is a must try if you go to Medan city, friends!
