This weekend, I was told by a friend of mine to meet at an All You Can Eat restaurant. This friend of mine really wanted to meet me because he wanted to share the happy news. He invited me to attend his wedding which will be held in February 2022.
Seen from his face, he was very happy to be proposed by the man he had been waiting for a long long time.
We talked a lot about the process of meeting her future husband. I listened to the story with a happy heart. I am happy because he is my best friend who will be the last to marry. So, I have friendship with 4 women. Our friendship started because we lived in the same house when we were in college. We rented 1 house with 3 rooms. Because we see each other every day that we form such a close friendship.
My friend's name is Desy, she took me to Pochajjang Restaurant. This restaurant is a Korean BBQ All You Can Eat. Korean BBQ is very famous because it often appears on television broadcasts and Korean dramas. This makes many people compete to make restaurants that are similar to those in Korean dramas. The viral Korean BBQ restaurant made a lot of enthusiasts, supply and demand.
Having a restaurant like this makes me happy. Because I really like grilled meat, moreover everything can be eaten without having to think about the bill behind. All meat and drinks can be refilled to their heart's content. I really like the choice of yoshinoya beef with Korean spices. Even though it's not authentic, it can cure my curiosity about what Korean food is like, and most importantly, I can feel what it's like to eat in a place like being in South Korea.
My Favorites Korean BBQ Restaurant
This restaurant provides a variety of meats and other types of menus which certainly have the characteristics of South Korean food.
I went to the ready-to-eat food section, there are some foods such as Japchae which looks like fried vermicelli and kimbab (the shape is almost like sushi but stuffed with vegetables). There is also Corndog which is famous for a Korean drama starring Bae Suzy. I love the corndogs here because they are full of mozzarella cheese.
Even though all the food smells very South Korean, there is one dessert that I'm a little interested in, namely shaved ice. Well, this shaved ice reminds me of when I was chilhood. This shaved ice has its own value in my heart, and what amazes me the most is, this shaved ice is very rare to find. It will be very hard to get, but this restaurant provides it very well. It tastes very good too. This shaved ice is made from crushed ice like snow, then topped with various flavors of gelatin and sprinkled with various flavors of syrup and condense milk.
There is a special way that I've seen in Korean dramas in making the right composition to enjoy Korean BBQ. The roasted meat is then wrapped in a sheet of lettuce and then given a little kimchi and then eaten in one bite. I think this composition is very good because all the flavors are chewed together, the fresh taste is obtained from the lettuce leaves, the melted taste is obtained from the bbq meat and the sweet and sour taste is obtained from the kimchi.
The atmosphere
As for the atmosphere in this restaurant, it is also very expected, when I see in Korean dramas, there are several tables on which there is a single stove and grill, then on the grill there is a smoker that really looks like a Korean BBQ restaurant.
Seen in the photos I took, many visitors came even though it was still on weekdays. Usually when I just pass in front of the restaurant on weekends, many visitors are waiting to get a seat.
Term and conditional
There are several things to pay attention to, especially the conditions that apply at this restaurant.
The first, we should not leave meat so we are required to measure the needs that we can eat. If we leave meat, we are required to pay per 100 grams of meat at a price of 50,000 IDR.
