Usually, I make ragout as a separate filling, so it won't go stale quickly and it's easy to store in the fridge. This vegetable chicken ragout filling will last in the chiller for 1 week, if stored in the freezer it can last up to 1 month.
To make vegetable chicken ragout, use fresh ingredients, because the taste will be different if you use bad ingredients, besides that it will be harmful to your health. Choose the chicken breast so that the ragout filling is dense with meat, if you want it to be juicier, use the meat on the chicken thigh.

Puff Pastry Vegetable Chicken Ragout
Before making it, prepare some of the ingredients you want to use in making puff pastry vegetable chicken ragout, as below;
Ingredients:
- 1-2 sheets of puff pastry
- 2 cloves of garlic, 4 cloves of shallots
- 3 pcs red chilies (adjust the spicy taste you want)
- 1 clove of Onion
- 1 pcs green onions
- 250 gr of chicken that has been chopped
- 5 pcs beans
- 1pc carrots
- Salt and sugar to taste as flavoring
- Mayonnaise and chili sauce
How to make puff pastry vegetable chicken ragout:
- Puree the shallots, garlic and red chilies, add a little water or oil to the blender so that they are easily puree.
- Clean the leeks, beans and carrots. After that, thinly slice the green beans and carrots, then set aside.
- Sauté the mashed ingredients in a wokpan then add the chopped vegetables.
- After that put the minced meat into the wok pan, add a little water. Cover the wok pan until the chopped vegetables and yam are perfectly cooked.
- Give mayonnaise, pepper, sugar and salt, adjust to taste. Set aside the ragout and wait for it to cool.
- Cut the puff pastry you want to use, then fill it with the ragout filling.
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius, bake for 15-20 minutes until the puff pastry expands and is cooked.
- Serve puff pastry vegetable chicken ragout for your family.
