Hello everyone,
The one who created the idea to make a rice bowl is a smart person, I think this is an interesting idea to dig deeper into. The reason is, rice bowls make life easier, how can this idea be very useful for someone who is busy on a daily basis, but needs food that is complete with macronutrients for the body.
Starting from one of the famous food merchants in my city, I was inspired to make interesting rice bowls to be enjoyed at lunch. In my opinion, rice bowls make it easier for me in every way, including preparing food for my busy working husband. That's why, lately I like to make simple rice bowls.
From the words RICE and BOWL, which mean rice in a bowl, it must be filled with rice, side dishes, vegetables in the bowl. The shape is interesting, especially for those who like food stirred in one container. If you often watch Korean dramas, you must know about bibimbap, where the food is mixed in one container complete with side dishes, vegetables and also several side dishes which will make the food even more delicious.
I'm thinking of making a simple rice bowl with some ingredients from whatever is in the kitchen. I have sardines in a can, tomatoes, seaweed and also eggs. It's certain that all of these ingredients will be very tasty if used as lunch this time. This includes complete nutrition and weight, so it is suitable for lunch for anyone who is busy. It can also be used as food for children's lunch, because good protein will really help brain development.
For that, preparing the ingredients this time is quite simple, use whatever is in your house, for example, if you have chicken or fish, just use what you have.
Ingredients;
- 1 Pack of canned sardines, you can use canned tuna or something you have in the kitchen.
- 2 pcs eggs
- 1 pcs tomato, 5 pcs red chili and 4 pcs cayenne pepper
- 4 shallots, ½ onion, 3 leeks
- 1 pcs lemongrass, 1 segment of galangal and bay leaf
- 2 sheets of seaweed
How to Make Rice Bowl Sardine Fish;
- Grind the red chilies, cayenne pepper, tomatoes and the rest of the filling in the sardines. Puree until it becomes juice and set aside.
- Slice shallots and onions, then saute with 1 tablespoon of canola oil. Cook over medium heat until the onions become fragrant.
- After that, put the spices that have been mashed into the stir-fried onions. Also add the lemongrass, galangal and bay leaves, then stir until the oil separates.
- Add sardines and eggs, if the eggs are half cooked, then stir until well blended. After that, add soy sauce, salt, sugar and thinly sliced leeks. Leave it until the gravy thickens or ½ dries up.
- Take the rice and put it in the bowl that has been provided, then pour the sardines and egg sauce over the rice. Give a little seaweed if there is, then serve it for lunch.
See you the next time hive friends!
