Anniversary number two. We were married three times. Once for government, once for our Taiwan family, and one for our American family. So this is the second one. We went to a department store which had a great Korean restaurant.
Here's my wife. It was a lot of food. We ordered a two person meal. It started with appetizers.
First, fried seaweed. Nice and salty.
Really good kimchi. Very spicy.
Sprouts that were slightly spicy.
I want to say spinach, but it was a little different. This wasn't salty or spicy. It was a nice way to cool down our mouthes.
This is ginger. Surprisingly, it was sweet and not spicy at all.
All the appetizers were bottomless. Which made it even better.
This amazing dish is a stone pot that is superheated. Then rice and chicken are added. The pot makes the rice along the sides crispy. It's a delicious must try.
Here we are stirring the rice.
Here is a seafood pancake. It's not a western pancake, but it is made in a pan.
This was my favotie. It's Korean rice cake with kimchi vegetables, and chicken.
We accompanied our meal with a soup. This has tofu, fish, and kimchi.
For drinks my wife ordered a jujube tea.
I ordered a pomelo tea.
One more anniversary to go.
