Preparation of arepas with zucchini

• Para preparar las arepas con calabacín lo primero que hago es rallar el calabacín, después, añado la taza de harina de maíz, la sal y luego el agua y amasamos, hasta conseguir una textura suave.

• To prepare the arepas with zucchini the first thing I do is grate the zucchini, then, I add the cup of corn flour, salt and then water and knead, until I get a smooth texture.

• Ahora hago bolas con la masa y luego la aplano en forma redonda para hacer las arepas, mientras tanto coloco una sartén en la estufa y cuando está caliente coloco las arepas y las dejo cocinar por ambos lados hasta que estén doradas.

• Now I make balls with the dough and then flatten it into a round shape to make the arepas, meanwhile I place a pan on the stove and when it is hot I place the arepas and let them cook on both sides until they are golden brown.

• Listo estas arepas de calabacín.

• Ready these zucchini arepas.

Preparación de la ensalada de atún

Preparation of the tuna salad

• Lo primero que hago es destapar el atún y luego lo coloco en un bol, después agrego el tomate, la cebolla y el pimentón en cubos pequeños y luego le agrego sal y mezclo.

• The first thing I do is uncover the tuna and then I place it in a bowl, then I add the tomato, onion and paprika in small cubes and then I add salt and mix.

• Ahora exprimo un limón y al final añado la mayonesa y mezclo.

• Now I squeeze a lemon and at the end I add the mayonnaise and mix.

• Listo esta ensalada de atún.
