“Cooking requires confident guesswork and improvisation, experimentation and substitution, dealing with failure, and uncertainty in a creative way.”
—Paul Theroux
Hello to all the brilliant and skillful people in this community! How are you? I hope you are all fine. It's my first time posting in this community to share my humble skills in cooking. I mentioned in my Intro blog that cooking is my passion. But lately, I'm busy so, I did not find time to cook some of my favorite dishes for my family and friends. I hope that this Christmas my cooking skills will be practiced this time. But of course, I need to have a budget for the ingredients. In this blog, I will be sharing with you one common dish I prepared. This dish is a favorite of many Filipinos as a main dish or snack. I hope that this is your favorite too. Well, let's see.
It's a Christmas Party in my advisory class, so as an adviser, I plan to prepare Pancit Bihon because I already ordered chicken and lumpia. I wanted to cook fried chicken and lumpia too. But because of limited time, I decided to prepare or cook Pancit Bihon as an additional recipe for the party. I choose Pancit Bihon because it is easy to prepare and has a minimal cost.
Cooking is an art. Your creativity and innovativeness in food preparation are necessary to make your product more appealing and appetizing. Cooking techniques and the choice of ingredients to be used in food preparation affect the results of a dish or food you prepare. When plating and garnishing a dish you prepared, your knowledge of art principles must also apply.
So my dear friends, if you want to know how to cook this Pancit Bihon, here's how.

For variations, you can use chicken meat, beef, or shell. You may add liver also if you want. The liver of pork or chicken will do. Dried Shrimp, dried squid, or fresh of it can also be used.
